Speaking at LISA Forums
LISA welcomes proposals to speak at LISA Forums and Summits.
LISA is the premier organization providing the mechanisms and services which enable companies to exchange and share information on the development of globalization and localization processes, tools, technologies and business models so that they can become more effective in their own business.
Proposals should accordingly deal with some aspect of globalization (either business or technical) and provide concrete illustration of the topic. Sales pitches and presentations intended primarily to highlight a company’s products or services are not allowed (although you are encouraged to discuss your company’s experiences).
Submitting Your Proposal
If you are interested in speaking at a LISA Forum, please review our current events pages to see any recent calls for presentations. You may also contact events@lisa.org, providing the following:
- Name of the LISA Forum you are interested in
- Your name and organizational affiliation
- A proposed title for your presentation
- An abstract (~200 words) explaining what your presentation would address
- A brief description of your company
- A brief biographical statement
If your proposal is accepted, we will contact you with further information regarding date and time as well as deadlines for submitting your presentation to LISA for publication in Forum or Summit materials.
LISA Speaker Policies
LISA is a member driven, non-profit association supported by its constituency and forum revenues. Speakers are offered a substantial discount on attendance at the event in which they speak due to their work and support of the event. We make waive this fee for non-profit and educational institutions, as well as smaller organizations whose company policies may not otherwise permit them to contribute.
Proposals that appear to be primarily intended to sell products or services will be rejected.
