09:15 - 09:45 Why take the time/resources to do a Globalization Audit?
Pre-audit preparation
Three key questions to answer
  This session covers why Globalization Audits are critical and how to prepare your organization to run a successful one.
09:45 - 10:15 Globalization Auditing at the Strategic Level (Part 1)
  This session covers specific strategic issues to be included in your audit and how to approach them.
10:15 - 10:45 Coffee Break
10:45 - 11:15 Globalization Auditing at the Strategic Level (Part 2)
  This session will help you to better understand how your internal processes and procedures will affect your level of success when entering a new market.
11:15 - 12:15 Globalization Auditing at the Departmental Level
  This session provides specific guidelines on how to run a Globalization Audit for the following functions: the Executive Team, Sales, Marketing/Advertising, Technical Support, R&D/Engineering, Operations (Manufacturing/IT/Finance/Legal/HR) and Regulatory Compliance.

13:30 - 14:30 Practical Application
  This session will be an interactive one during which participants will pair up to apply one area of the Globalization Audit to their own organizations. The objectives are (1) to identify the top two strengths/weaknesses and (2) to propose an action plan to fix the weaknesses. Target markets: China and the U.S.

15:00 - 16:00 What are the action items to delegate to ensure a smooth Globalization Audit?
How will your organization know when it is prepared for the global delivery of its products and services?
  This session will answer these two critical questions.
16:00 - 16:30 What are the Top 5 Mistakes that many organizations make when they expand into new markets? How can you avoid them?
  This session will be interactive, enabling the participants to reflect on what their own organizations have done in the past.
16:30 - 17:00 Case Studies and Wrap-up
  This session will highlight one company who “got it right,” and one company who didn’t, followed by a wrap-up for the day.
