As Lead Translator, you will also review the texts in line with the client’s guidelines and as such you will be responsible for quality assurance, consistency and terminology management. You will also be involved in the recruitment of new freelance resources and providing feedback to current vendors on their translations.     Required Qualifications


    The successful applicant will ideally have a proven track record in the localization industry and specifically in automotive translation. Alternatively, candidates must be able to demonstrate an aptitude for this material and a willingness to develop a specialism in this field. With English as your mother tongue, you must also hold an MA in translation and demonstrate exceptionally strong French language skills. Familiarity with the management of linguistic aspects of the localization process is also preferred. An understanding of IT with good MS Office skills is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and a keen eye for detail. Experience with Translation Memory tools will also be required.
